Saturday’s qualifying session, which differs from usual qualifying because drivers will have to make a pit stop during the session, will set the lineup for the first 75-lap segment of the race, with all full-time Cup Series teams set to be in the field. After the first segment, the top 26 drivers in the running order will have their spot in the lineup inverted for a second 75-lap run, with drivers outside of the top 26 lining up by where they finished the first segment.
Finally, this will set up a final 200-lap run. The field for that segment will consist of race winners from 2025 and 2026, former Cup Series champions, a fan-vote winner, and then remaining drivers based on lowest combined finishing position in the first two segments until the field has reached 26 drivers, with the other drivers not taking part in the final segment.
