The #8 Toyota won the 2026 Imola 6 Hours, the first round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, on April 19, 2026, beating the #51 Ferrari in the closing stages. The Hirakawa/Hartley/Buemi trio prevailed ahead of the Ferrari of Pier Guidi/Calado/Giovinazzi, with over 92,000 spectators in attendance. Another car from the Japanese team took third place.
