55th Engadin Skimarathon: 12.000 cross-country skiing enthusiasts from over 60 nations in Switzerland | 9th March
ince 1969, every year, Switzerland’s largest sports event attracts thousands of cross-country skiing fans to the Grisons high valley and also well known pro athletes. This year the biathlon legend Martin Fourcade (FRA) (5x Olympic champion, 13x world champion and 7x winner of the overall World Cup rankings), his fellow countryman and world cup sprinter Jay Renaud (FRA) and Magne Haga (NOR) (last year’s winner) will compete on the 42 km long marathon route to S-chanf.
In the women’s event, Switzerland’s Selina Gasparin (silver medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics) will be competing in her home country alongside local hero and last year’s winner Guliana Werro.
